In April of 2023, Libertas International preformed a training for members of the US Marshals, Interpol, and the Department of Homeland Security in Bogota, Colombia.
In many cases we work, the people who are abusing these survivors are actually wanted sex offenders from the United States. Libertas International discussed in the training what we can do to help facilitate these types of cases.
1) Report our cases to proper channels in the hopes that justice is done.
2) What Libertas does on a clinic level with social work and therapy.
3) What the work of justice looks like.
4) Overall impact and testimonies of survivors of human trafficking living in Colombia who are supported by Libertas International.
